A note on accessibility
The Grange is a rooftop venue. While there will be an elevator taking guests from the ground floor to the 11th floor, note that there will one flight of stairs going from the 11th floor to the roof. Please take this into consideration as you plan out things like footwear and traveling with young children!
Dress code: Harvest Formal
To match the season, we invite you to dress in Harvest Formal attire. Think elegant gowns and suits in rich, vibrant colors—reds, browns, oranges, greens, purples, pinks, golds, and lush prints inspired by a late summer harvest.
Getting tHERE
There are two ways to enter the Navy Yard, depending on how you plan to get there. Please read carefully to plan your travel to the venue!
Please use the turnstile at Flushing Ave and Adelphi Street.* The turnstile is on Flushing Ave; look out for a security guard who will usher you in. Then make your way to Building #3 and walk to the gray double-doors, which will take you to the passenger elevator. Take the elevator to the 11th floor.
You can enter “Flushing Ave and Adelphi St” directly into Google Maps, or type in the address 118 Flushing Ave, Brooklyn, NY, 11205, which will drop you across the street from the turnstile.
*NOTE: This turnstile will only be available until 6pm. Any guests arriving after 6pm will have to take the Clinton Gate entrance on the right (if you take an Uber, you can instruct the car to enter through the gate and drop you off inside the Navy Yard).
1.) If you're taking an Uber/taxi, walking, or taking public transport...
2.) If you’re driving a car and need to find parking…
Please enter through the Clinton Gate entrance at Clinton Ave and Flushing Ave. The closest parking lot will be behind Paulding St. Please note that there is no overnight parking!
Our story
As legend has it, Cindy and Koko met at a Kishi Bashi concert on a blustery March evening in 2022. They were both +1s, accompanying friends who were actual fans of the indie folk band. Koko was tickled by Cindy’s sense of humor, and Cindy was impressed by Koko’s ability to project his voice in a crowded theater. (The rest of the audience was not.)
While they didn’t get converted into Kishi Bashi fans that night, it marked the start of something new: a long-distance courtship that spanned from New York’s Upper West Side to Crown Heights. The couple found they had a shared zest for life and love for long, meandering walks around the city and conversations about everything under the sun.
Eventually, they moved to the East Village and adopted a precious black cat named Poppy. Many adventures, concerts, home-cooked feasts, and kitty snuggles later, they’re excited to (for the final time…) tie the knot with all their family and friends!

Due to the limited number of out-of-town guests, we were not able to arrange a hotel block with a favorable rate. That said, there are a variety of hotels and Airbnbs in surrounding neighborhoods that will provide convenient access to the venue.
